Insulated construction boards manufacturer Marmox is launching a new impact sound insulated version of their popular Marmox board. Marmox boards have created a worldwide reputation in the market for high quality tile backer boards and have been stamped with approval in the UK from both The Energy Saving Trust and The BBA.

‘We are always looking for new and innovative ways to insulate the home and the new Marmox Sound reduction boards combat both the problem of heat loss and impact sound travel.’ commented Marmox Technical Manager Mark Bowman.

Coated on one side with a rubber sheet the Marmox Sound reduction boards are used to insulate and waterproof bathrooms and wetrooms as well as enhance the efficiency of underfloor heating. The boards are ready to receive a surface finish of tiles, are lightweight, easy to use and can be easy cut to size with a knife.

Marmox will be exhibiting the new Sound reduction boards at the Ecobuild show in London ExCel from 20-22 March.
