Cytech Europe will launch a stylish new touchscreen keypad, the KT03, in the next few months. The monochrome KT03 with a 4-inch (10 cm) LCD touchscreen has a built in speaker, microphone and infrared (IR) receiver. L Y Chiu, Director of Cytech Europe Limited, says “The KT03 has been designed to provide a compelling and appealing user interface for the Comfort Security and Home Automation System allowing the user more easily to access its powerful capabilities and to fill a gap in the market between a simple LCD keypad and the large, very expensive touchscreens.”

Cytech has appointed Domotiks Viviendas & Edificios Inteligentes as their distributor in Spain for the Comfort Intelligent Home System. Domotiks, with over 20 years in the electronics and telecommunications industry, was an installer until 2008 when their business model changed to become a distributor of quality products and services in the home automation industry. They also develop their own proprietary products dealing with energy management.

A remote stone farmhouse on the West Pennine Moors has been given a hi-tech makeover by home automation installer Morban, featuring Cytech Europe’s Comfort Intelligent Home System. The traditional farmhouse, built in 1870, was modernised and extended as his family home by owner, Nigel -a property investor and developer. The family – wife, Ashley and two children, a girl of 6 and a boy aged 4, love the ease and simplicity of their home automation system that they can all operate.

A new, stylish version of the Comfort KP04 keypad has been designed and introduced by smart power shop, part of the B & S Group Ltd. With a stainless steel fascia that fits flush to the wall, the new-look keypad has all the features of the Comfort KP04 and includes an LCD display for messages.

Cytech has introduced two new products for its flagship Comfort Intelligent Home System. The CWM02 embedded Comfort Webserver Module allows the user to access his lighting, security and home appliances on the internet using a browser. The layout of the home or office can be displayed with icons for lights, air-conditioners, heaters, doors, windows, motion detectors and cameras. The display of the icons changes in real time according to their state at that time.

A clear and simple film presenting the essential facts about a smart home is launched by Cytech Europe Limited featuring their Comfort Intelligent Home System. The DVD, filmed in a family home, entertains, informs and demonstrates all aspects of smart home technology including security, networked sound and vision, remote control of heating, air conditioning, lighting, curatins and gates and an intercom which calls a mobile phone when no one is home.
